The CompanyA growing manufacturing business based in the Northern Suburbs of Perth is looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to manage its weekly payroll for 150 employees. About the Role:
- Report to the Administration Manager and work closely with a finance team of six
- Process weekly payroll using Visipay, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Assist in the migration from Visipay to UKG Ready, gaining valuable system transition experience
- Apply manufacturing award interpretations to ensure correct pay rates, penalties, and entitlements
- Manage employee payroll queries and provide timely resolutions
- Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and internal policies
- Experience processing weekly payroll (preferably in a manufacturing environment)
- Understanding of manufacturing awards and how they apply to payroll
- Familiarity with Visipay or other payroll software (experience with UKG Ready is a plus!)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance
- A team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
