Set on 400,000 acres of privately owned countryside at the convergence of the Bullo and Victoria rivers, Bullo River Station is a working cattle station in the East Kimberley region, in the Northern Territory near the Western Australian border. Bullo River Station offers guests an authentic working cattle station experience that harmoniously balances pastoral, tourism and conservation activities. Guests experience the timeless spirit of an outback welcome, through hospitality and the generous and comfortable surroundings of the property’s homestead. ‘Bullo’, as it’s affectionately known, is a real “home in the outback."
The role of Guest Experience Team Leader is integral to delivering a memorable guest experience between April and September 2025.
You will be responsible for:
The Guest Experience Team Leader, reports to the Guest Experience Manager, is a hands on leadership role within the tourism team and leading the team whilst the Guest Experience Manager is on days off. They deliver the guest experience at the Homestead through finely-honed people & communication skills ensuring the ambience, food & beverage service and housekeeping of Bullo River Station Homestead and Guest Accommodation. This is a hands on role and will lead the team by example. The Guest experience team also have the opportunity to deliver guest experiences out on Bullo River Station.
One day is never like another on a cattle station, so we are seeking adaptable team players. The guest experience team represents the spirit of Outback hospitality, that is, with warmth and professionalism with minimal disruption.
You will have:
- Previous hospitality experience in leadership roles
- Excellent attention to detail across housekeeping tasks
- A strong understanding of the delivery of a luxury hospitality experience
- The flexibility and adaptability to work in this multifaceted environment
- Responsible Service of Alcohol required
- A current first aid qualification preferable
- A current NT working with children clearance preferable
What we offer:
- The roster will be 6 days on, 2 days off to allow you time to explore the beautiful location and have well deserved time off. To explore the Station or visit Kununurra in your days off you will need your own 4WD.
- Modern accommodation at ‘Rayners Camp’. Each room is a double with ensuite and shared deck.
- Rayner’s Camp includes a gym, TV room, fully equipped laundry, kitchen with outdoor dining and outdoor seating with firepit.
