Description:
Are you a passionate psychologist with a heart for working with children and adolescents? Do you thrive in a private practice setting where collaboration and innovation are valued? Look no further!
With the recent addition of a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to Oqea Cares, we are now looking for a Registered or Clinical Psychologist with expertise in working with children and adolescents to join our team.
About Us:
Practice Setting: We operate well-managed private practice clinics that foster regular peer interaction and provide strong administrative support.
Psychological Therapy: Our primary focus has been on adults (16+), and we are now expanding our services to include children and adolescents. Whilst your primary focus will be working with younger clients, you can also see adult clients if you wish.
Specialized Assessments: If you have experience in conducting specialized assessments (such as ADHD assessments), we encourage you to apply.
Group Therapy: Facilitating group therapy programs is also part of our practice, so expertise in this area is a plus.
Technology-Driven Care:
We utilize the web-based platform Oqea for secure communication with clients and their support teams.
Our approach is collaborative and person-centered, leveraging technology to enhance client support.
Requirements:
Registered Psychologist: You must be a registered psychologist with AHPRA.
Passion for Child and Adolescent Psychology: Your enthusiasm for working with young clients is essential.
Innovative Mindset: We seek like-minded clinicians who are excited to contribute to an evolving multi-disciplinary practice.
Full-Time or Part-Time Options: Choose between full-time or part-time roles, either as a salaried employee or a contractor.
Supervision and Professional Development: We provide in-house supervision and regular professional development opportunities.
Application Process:
To streamline the process, please upload your current resume. Our Chief Psychologist, Eimear Quigley, will be in touch promptly.
Unfortunately, we are currently not accepting applications from Provisional Psychologists.
