The Hospital Research Foundation Group (THRFG) is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Manager - Supporter Engagement. You will be instrumental in shaping and executing our strategic fundraising initiatives across SA and WA. Your expertise will be crucial in driving ongoing fundraising programs for the THRFG and supporting our mission to fund groundbreaking hospital medical research.

About the role :

Drive strategic fundraising growth by developing and implementing tactical activities to acquire new supporters and deepen existing donor relationships, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Lead and inspire the Supporter Engagement Team to maximise supporter engagement, revenue, and retention across multiple fundraising programs including mid and major donors, In Honour and Gifts in Will. Lead and support the Fundraising Relationship Manager to build and strengthen relationships with Trusts and Foundations to enhance revenue opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships within local hospital networks to engage hospital staff, patients, and families in fundraising activities. Manage resources effectively to ensure the team meets or exceeds revenue and acquisition targets in line with the organisation’s strategic plan.

You will ideally have :

3+ years’ experience in a senior or team leadership role within a customer service, sales, or fundraising environment—preferably in the not-for-profit sector. Proven track record in relationship-based sales or customer service, with demonstrated success using CRM systems. Strong data-led approach to prospect identification and donor segmentation, along with an understanding of best-practice fundraising or marketing. Excellent leadership and performance management skills, with an ability to motivate, coach, and develop a team towards shared goals. Exceptional communication, networking, and stakeholder management skills, including an ability to engage a diverse range of supporters. A positive, proactive mindset with strong organisational skills and a commitment to delivering results within specified deadlines.
