About the opportunity:
Position: Therapeutic Interventions Coordinator
Vacancy: Permanent full-time
Location: Kirwan Health Campus - TOWNSVILLE
The Therapeutic Interventions Coordinator will develop, direct and facilitate the provision of evidence based mental health therapeutic intervention programs with a focus on group based, virtual and technology assisted interventions across Rural and Remote mental health services in the Townsville Hospital and health Service area.
The Therapeutic Interventions Coordinator based in Townsville, provides high level specialist clinical consultation and guidance to clinicians in the 4 community mental health services, utilising in person and technology-based contacts. The role will include supporting the case management of consumers with complex presentations with relevant evidence based interventions.
This will include the delivery of education and training for mental health clinicians to provide evidence-based interventions, across the lifespan.
All employees of the Mental Health Service Group may be required to work in other areas of the service.

- Salary range: $4912.70 to $5516.60 p.f. (HP4/NG7)

- Ongoing professional development relevant to the delivery of specialist Mental Health Services (MHSG) to maintain appropriate registration and/or association requirements is a requirement of all staff within the MHSG.

Requirements:
- Qualification: Mandatory qualifications (Pscyhology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work and Nursing) and proof or registration (if applicable).
- Possession of class C drivers' licence.
- Travel is a requirement of this position.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
- Probation period may apply.
