The Role

Ventia currently looking to engage a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our team at Campbell Barracks in Swanbourne, WA . In this role you will be responsible for electrical maintenance across a defence base including repairs, planned and reactive maintenance campaigns as well as high-voltage switching programs.

This position is a full-time permanent role, working hours are Monday to Friday, 07 : 00am - 03 : 30pm (with overtime opportunities and some flexibility) with 1x RDO (Rostered Day Off) per month. A company car (Tool of Trade vehicle) will also be provided for travel to and from the base each day.

The payrate for this position is $41.48 per hour.

The successful candidate must be an Australian Citizen and willing to undergo a police check.

Key duties, but not limited to :

Conduct maintenance tasks including inspection, classification, repairs & planned works Complete work orders and verify tasks in accordance with requirements Report and qualify detected equipment faults to supervisors Fault finding activities & reactive maintenance Develop & carry out HV switching programmes Small Installations, emergency lighting, lamp changes and strip outs

Skills & Experience :

WA Driver’s License Trade Certificate III Electrotechnology Electrician WA Electrical Licence Experienced in low voltage, fault-finding and general maintenance High Voltage Switching Operations qualification - Highly regarded Previous exposure to high voltage installations - Highly regarded
