SA Health is seeking a passionate and experienced Nurse Consultant to join our esteemed Complex Benign Gynaecology team at the Flinders Medical Centre. The gynaecology service functions within the Ambulatory Women's Health Service.

About the role:

Reporting to the Head of Gynaecology Surgery and Adv N&M / Midwifery Director , you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional care and support to patients undergoing complex benign gynaecological procedures. Your expertise and leadership will be invaluable in driving best practices, fostering a collaborative environment, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. Duties for the role will include:

• Contribute to the development of, implementation of, and monitoring of corporate policies and processes that relate to complex gynaecology care
• Ensure mechanisms are in place to support ongoing education where work and learning are integrated,
• Provides leadership and direction, acts a role model, mentor, consultant and resource person,
• Contributing to the development of an integrated team approach and culture which is highly responsive to the needs of our consumers.

About you:

• Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate,
• Effective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
• Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience
