Description:

It is a genuine occupational requirement for this position to be filled by an Aboriginal person or Torres Strait Islander person, as permitted by and arguable under, Sections 25, 104 and 105 of the Queensland Anti-Discrimination Act 1991.
The position will liaise and communicate with a range of external clients including First Nations Elders and community leaders, teachers, students, professionals working in the creative industries, as well as internal staff including Learning section staff and staff from other program areas.
The position reports to the Regional Liaison Officer (Identified).
Key Duties
Work within a busy team to support the delivery of a range of cultural learning programs.
Complete administrative duties to provide clear and timely communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to support logistical management and other administrative systems and records.
Communicate with clarity via phone, email and in person to manage bookings and ensure that client needs are documented and catered for in project planning and delivery.
Resolve problems and provide planning support associated with the scheduling.
Coordinate cultural learning programs using established guidelines, protocols, procedures and advice from senior staff.
Plan and prioritise workload to ensure client needs and Learning Department deadlines are met, in accordance with operational requirements and client demand.
