Base pay range:

A$200,000.00 / yr - A$250,000.00 / yr

The Head of Information Technology will be responsible for driving the direction, growth and transformation of IT across the organisation, playing a crucial part in modernising technology, improving operational efficiencies, streamlining processes and enhancing the technical capabilities of the IT team.

The role will have responsibility for approximately 5 direct reports in the Brisbane office, as well as a remote IT support team, so the ability to foster team spirit, cultivate strong relationships, and nurture a positive workplace culture is essential.

As an integral member of the senior leadership team, you will ensure activities are aligned with the strategic direction and are consistent with the company mission and values.

1. Influence technology decisions in line with organisational strategy, offering solutions that align with company goals.
2. Spearhead process optimization, harnessing cutting-edge technology to bolster a competitive advantage.
3. Oversee the complete life cycle of business applications and systems, from forecasting and acquisition to seamless implementation, ensuring top-notch performance, compliance, and ongoing management.
4. Take charge of IT infrastructure, service delivery, and fortify our cybersecurity measures.
5. Establish and maintain budgets, skillfully managing information technology expenditures.
6. Monitor and report on information technology risks and the strategies in place to mitigate them.
7. Lead initiatives for continuous improvement, fostering greater efficiencies and delivering high-quality solutions.

The ideal applicant for the Head of Information Technology will display the following skills, experience and attributes:

1. Previous experience operating in General Manager Technology / Head of Information Technology position.
2. Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead a team of technology specialists to deliver technology and applications solutions.
3. Previous experience delivering an ERP upgrade project.
4. Previous experience driving and delivering an IT transformation program of work.
5. Knowledge of cyber security best practice and data protection regulations.
6. Degree educated - Business or Information Technology related.
7. Proven project management and service management experience. Certifications desirable (Prince 2, PMP, ITIL).
