Are you passionate about making a difference in people’s lives? We are looking for experienced and dedicated Lifestyle Mentors to join our brand-new Supported Independent Living (SIL) house in Cootharaba .
We have a variety of shifts on offer, including day shifts, night shifts, and sleepover shifts. Flexibility is essential, as we require team members who can work across both day and night schedules. This is your chance to work in a supportive, rewarding environment where you can truly empower others to live their best lives.

About The Role
Our Lifestyle Mentors work right around our awesome region to support participants to work towards and reach their goals – and the participants we support are as diverse as our workforce. We can’t tell you what an ordinary day of an IDSS Lifestyle Mentor looks like, because every one of the participants we support is different. But tasks you may support participants with include:
- Personal care, witnessing medication administration, meal preparation and other domestic activities
- Skills development (this could be anything from supporting a participant with job preparation, to learning how to cook, understand money or catch public transport)
- Social and community access (supporting participants to access and become a part of their local communities, develop friendships and otherwise enjoy life)
✨Remember, every IDSS participant has their own goals, dreams and aspirations, and no day as an IDSS Lifestyle Mentor will be the same ✨
What Else Do I Need
- Cert III in Individual Support (Disability) (beneficial, but not essential)
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and Blue Card or ability to obtain
- Current Australian driver’s licence and reliable insured vehicle
- NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission eLearning Certificates
- Ability to quickly learn and use various apps
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Flexible roster availability
