- Support the execution of event-day and non-event-day catering across a diverse range of cuisines.
- Inspire and mentor the culinary team through hands-on leadership and training.
- Uphold high food service standards by implementing and reviewing efficient systems and processes.
- Assist with budget management and food cost control, ensuring effective use of IT systems.
- Support staffing, scheduling, and labor cost management for both permanent and casual kitchen staff.
- Maintain strict food safety standards, ensuring HACCP accreditation and compliance with health regulations.
- Work closely with other F&B departments to contribute to exceptional dining experiences for all guests.
- A proven track record in managing large-scale or high-end kitchen operations, with a strong focus on delivering functions and production, venue and event experience highly regarded.
- Strong leadership skills with a history of developing, mentoring, and motivating large, diverse kitchen teams.
- Experience in menu development, stock control, and cost management.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen with a focus on delivering strong business outcomes.
- Relevant culinary qualifications.
- Proficiency in business technology, including stock control systems, spreadsheets, and accounting software.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
