Our client is a design driven architectural firm with a proven track record of delivering highly innovative solutions on projects around Australia. They have an amazing pipeline of committed projects that offers unrivalled security of employment. Upcoming projects range across Public, Education and Community architecture with budgets above $50M in size.
The Opportunity:
They currently seek an experienced Project Architect to join their team on a permanent basis to take the lead role on a large public project. Your expertise will be instrumental in liaising with multiple layers of stakeholders, developing design solutions, coordinating with consultants, and ensuring high-quality outcomes. You will also provide leadership within the team, mentoring junior staff and driving project success.
Key Responsibilities:

• Client Engagement: Liaise with clients to understand project requirements, conduct site inspections, and present design concepts.
• Project Management: Oversee project design and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations, budgets, and timelines.
• Design & Innovation: Lead the development of innovative and practical architectural solutions while maintaining design excellence.
• Leadership & Mentorship: Guide and support team members, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
• Regulatory & Contract Management: Administer contracts, monitor construction progress, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

To be Successful:
You will possess:

• A minimum of 10+ years industry experience gained working on high-rise developments;
• Demonstrated experience leading projects that are delivering on Revit, ideally utilsing BIM360;
• The passion and ability to mentor and inspire younger team members;
• High level communication skills; and
• A genuine love of creating beautiful architecture.
