Workshop Supervisor/Welder- Wetherill Park - Onsite Parking
- Full Time
- $90,000 + super negotiable
What you will need:
- Welding or fabrication qualifications are a MUST
- Extensive experience in the fabrication and welding of aluminium components
- Proven leadership experience is a MUST for you to succeed in this role
- Current forklift license and driver's license
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Intermediate computer literacy skills e.g. Internet-based applications, MS Office and Outlook
- A passion for change and a drive to deliver the best outcome for all stakeholders – employees, customers, end users
- Responsible for allocating and managing workflow for the production team (mostly Welders and Fabricators)
- Review and update documentation as required
- Liaise with the engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure materials and components are available to ensure efficient production flow
- Ensure all work is being completed safely and all employees are adhering to HR and WH&S policies and procedures
- Some manual handling and forklift operation involved
- Conduct pre-welding checks (where required), post-welding inspections, and quality acceptance checks on all completed fabricated components
