Your role as part of our Centre Leadership team and collaborating with other education professionals, children, and families, enables you to challenge, inspire, mentor, and lead the improvement of our educational programs and practice.
About the Centre:
Tarneit Grand Central is a BRAND-NEW centre in Guardian opening soon. A Brand-new place and with a brand-new team - with a range of exciting, resource-rich environments, the new Tarneit centre has access to easy parking and public transport. We are proud to have a culturally diverse team and celebrate a variety of cultures and holidays throughout the year!
Guardian Childcare & Education Tarneit Grand Central is conveniently located near cafes and public transport, which means families can access the highest quality education and care in close proximity to work and home, same with our employees who live close by in surrounding suburbs like Truganina, Point Cook, Williams Landing etc. All with less rushing around and more time with your child! Our Centre welcomes children from 6 weeks to 6 years old.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Diploma or/and Tertiary Qualifications (University Degree or equivalent) in Early Childhood Education as approved by ACECQA.
- Previous leadership, mentorship or management experience in a long daycare setting.
- Well-versed in curriculum, programming and planning.
- Happy to be on the floor as well as helping out the management team in the office.
- Can work full time and be flexible in rotating rosters.
- Proven knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQS), QIP and the 11 Child-safe standards.
- Valid Working with Children’s Check or state-specific equivalent.
Working closely with the Centre Leadership Team, you will enjoy;
- Leading the development and implementation of the curriculum in collaborating with Educators to maximise each child’s development and learning.
- Supporting Educators to ensure that each child participates in the educational program.
- Support Educators to assess each child’s learning and development.
- Establishing clear goals and expectations for teaching and practice in collaboration with all Educators.
- Contributing to the development and ongoing implementation and review of the centres Quality Improvement Plan.
