Job DescriptionAbout the Role
- 8 Months Cover
Sitting within the People & Culture team, the Claims Coordinator will be responsible for managing a range of insurance and claims-related matters, including:
- Workers Compensation – Oversee claims in collaboration with our dedicated consultant, ensuring effective provider management and supporting operational teams in return-to-work processes.
- Public Liability – Work alongside external claims managers to facilitate smooth handling of public liability cases and support for operational teams in reporting and remediation.
- Property Damage & Motor Vehicle Claims – Manage claims related to our fleet and property assets.
- Insurance Renewals – Coordinate the renewal of motor vehicle and workers’ compensation insurance (with broker support) ahead of the financial year-end.
- Reporting & Compliance – Prepare reports for internal stakeholders and customers to ensure transparency and compliance with regulatory requirements.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in Claims Management – Strong background in managing workers’ compensation (required) and public liability claims (preferred)
- Empathy & Relationship-Building Skills – Ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds, providing support and reassurance in sensitive situations.
- Attention to Detail & Curiosity – A keen eye for detail, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Engagement – Strong ability to work with internal operational teams to facilitate a smooth and supportive return-to-work process.
- Organisational & Time Management Skills – Ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
