The Opportunity
Join the passionate team at Explorers Learning Academy as the Centre Director. In this pivotal role, you will lead and guide the centre to deliver exceptional early childhood education and care. Overseeing all aspects of the centre's operations, you will ensure the safety, wellbeing and holistic development of the children in your care.
This is a full-time position based in Bardia, NSW.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strong, inspirational leadership to your dedicated team of early childhood educatorsDevelop and implement high-quality educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning FrameworkManage all operational aspects of the centre, including budget, compliance, policies and proceduresBuild meaningful relationships with families and the local communityEnsure the centre meets or exceeds all regulatory and quality standardsMentor and develop your team, fostering a positive, collaborative cultureChampion best practice in early childhood education and care
What We're Looking ForDiploma or Bachelor degree in Early Childhood EducationMinimum 3 years' experience as a Centre Director or in a senior leadership role in early childhoodDemonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop a high-performing teamExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organisational and problem-solving abilitiesThorough understanding of the regulatory framework for early childhood servicesPassion for providing high-quality care and education to young children
