Your Team

This role is part of the Group Risk Services team, an independent Line 2 Risk function which is led by the Chief Risk Officer. The Line 2 Risk team forms part of the broader CFS Strategy, Risk and Corporate Affairs business unit.

Your Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director, Group Risk Services, you will be responsible for leading the reporting, analytics and insights function within the Line 2 Risk team. The Senior Manager, Analytics and Insights will work closely with the Chief Risk Officer and various stakeholders across the organisation to develop advanced analytics tools and processes to provide sustainable strategic insights and analysis to support risk management decision making, monitoring and oversight.

You will achieve this by:

  • Leading the development and execution of the advanced analytics and insights strategy within the Line 2 Risk team.
  • Overseeing the design, development and implementation of advanced analytic models and tools to identify, assess and monitor risk.
  • Utilising data analytics to provide actionable insights and recommendations to enhance risk management practices.
  • Ensuring the integration of predictive analysis, machine learning and other advanced techniques into risk assessments and reporting.
  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive risk dashboards to provide real time insights to senior management and the boards.
  • Providing thought leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams on risk related analytics and insights.
  • Leading a small, high performing team in a collaborative and inclusive environment.

Your Capability and Experience

  • Proven experience in risk management, risk reporting, analytics or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Expert skills in data analysis tools, data visualisation and relevant software (e.g. Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Ability to build relationships, engage and influence senior management and key stakeholders on risk-related matters, communicating complex topics in simple, understandable terms.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to risk reporting.
