About the role
As a Site Caretaker, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of our school facility, ensuring that all contract service specifications are met. You'll manage contractors, handle general maintenance, and ensure all tasks are completed safely and efficiently. This is a Part Time position, Monday - Friday, 14:00 - 18:00 located at Jonh Hartley School Smithfield Plains.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keep classrooms, restrooms, and common areas clean and in good repair.
- Handle minor fixes and maintenance tasks.
- Help set up and take down equipment for school events.
- Maintain grounds & gardens.
- Ensure everything is safe and in working order.
- Coordinate with tradespeople and oversee their work.
- General admin duties.
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in maintenance or a similar role.
- Able to work flexible hours and handle physical tasks.
- Must have a driver's license.
Additional Information:
- SA Police check (results within 6 month) and Working with Children Check required.
- Must complete Downer training modules and be willing to undergo a pre employment medical.
