Description:
As Senior Project Officer you will be responsible for developing, monitoring and evaluating systems and processes to ensure the effective operation and continuous improvement of the Positive Behaviour Support and Restrictive Practices (PBSRP) Unit.You will also provide critical technical services, including the collection, analysis and reporting of data to support a staged approach to key reforms in the Positive Behaviour Support and Restrictive Practice Authorising Framework in Queensland.
The position reports to the Manager, Disability Reform Projects and works closely with the Director and Manager of the PBSRP Unit.
- Develop and support governance and business processes to enable compliance with legislation and completion of key tasks to ensure the Positive
- Behaviour Support and Restrictive Practices (PBSRP) Unit is prepared for reform.
- Support the oversight of project deliverables including communication and change management strategies, testing strategies, training plans and enhancement processes.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for the development and maintenance of information systems for the collection and analysis of data by the department.
- Provide advice to staff of all levels on administrative and operational issues as it relates to PBSRP as well as in relation to preparation of highly sensitive and confidential briefs, memos, submissions, and ministerial and executive correspondence.
- Design, coordinate and provide ad-hoc data reports and written analysis to management regarding the work undertaken by the Positive Behaviour Support and Restrictive Practice Unit.
- Develop and maintain effective partnerships across the department, whole of government and other non-government stakeholders to ensure identified needs and issues are appropriately reflected in the department's actions.
- Provide operational leadership and quality assurance for the data and reporting deliverables of the PBSRP Unit.
- Undertake other tasks and activities as requested by the Manager, Disability Reform Projects and/or Director, Safeguard Reforms.
