The role would operate 2:1 Roster based out of Perth.
Description:
Report directly to the Electrical Superintendent. The role will include ensuring Contractors are supported to deliver projects safely, efficiently; and to high standards that meet our end user's expectations and requirements.
They are highly experienced construction people with an in- depth knowledge of current construction practices on mine sites and work collaboratively to build great relationships with our Stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the management of multiple contracting companies and projects on site
- Review and accept Contractor Inspection and Test sheets
- Conducting Punch list walk downs
- Manage Isolation requirements
- Able to review and interpret Project drawings and
- Liaising with the Superintendents, Site Team, Contractors, and Stakeholders on all relevant matters
- Lease with Commissioning teams for handover and SIMOPS
- Conducting Field Leaderships
- Ensure BMS obligations are met
- Continuous stakeholder relationship building and communications with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Meet all responsibilities as outlined in the Health, Safety and Environment Policies
- Participate in any training and safety initiatives implemented by the company
- Comply with all safety directives, and work instructions; Immediately report any incident or potential hazard to their leader
- Correctly utilize any Personal Protective Equipment distributed
- Contribute to a highly skilled and capable workforce by supporting individual's personal and professional development through structured development plans and ongoing on the job coaching and mentoring
- Foster an empowered workgroup, where teamwork and diverse ideas are encouraged allowing achievements to surpass business objectives
- Act with integrity by leading by example ensuring all activities are completed in a safe and compliant manner, holding those to account that do not
- Identify and manage all workplace incidents promptly.
Qualifications And Experience
- A A Grade Electrical license or Tertiary qualifications as a minimum
- Relative project or construction supervision experience
- High voltage switching certificate
- Cert 4 in instrumentation and controls
- Experience in Fibre and communications networks
- Experience with completions management systems
- Post 10 years of electrical experience At least 5 years as a supervisor in mining
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to foster strong relationships.
- Ability to develop trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders while balancing operational excellence
- experience in High Voltage distribution networks overhead and underground
- Strong knowledge of Australian standards, regulations and codes of practice associated with HS&E, construction, inspection, testing and commissioning.
