As a Construction Project Manager at Fineform Concrete, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and supervising the execution of concrete-related works. You will work closely with stakeholders, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Coordination
- Lead the planning and execution of concrete construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that all deliverables meet scope, timelines, and budget requirements.
- Prepare and review project schedules, work breakdown structures, and ensure project milestones are met.
- Develop, manage, and track project budgets, ensuring cost control and maximizing profitability.
- Monitor expenditure and procurement processes to ensure compliance with project budgets.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and subcontractors, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead and facilitate meetings with project stakeholders to discuss progress, resolve issues, and implement solutions.
- Supervise on-site construction teams and subcontractors, ensuring high standards of work and adherence to safety regulations.
- Ensure the workforce is adequately resourced and properly trained to perform their tasks effectively and safely.
- Oversee the implementation of quality assurance practices to ensure that all work meets company, client, and regulatory standards.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with local, state, and national regulations, including building codes and health and safety guidelines.
- Identify potential risks to the project and take proactive measures to mitigate delays, cost overruns, and safety hazards.
- Resolve any project-related issues, ensuring smooth progress and preventing disruptions to timelines.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on project progress, financials, and risks to senior management.
- Maintain comprehensive records, documentation, and correspondence related to each project.
- Manage the successful closeout of each project, ensuring completion of all punch list items, client satisfaction, and handover documentation is provided.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to assess performance and implement improvements for future projects.
- Relevant qualification
- At least 2-3 years’ proven experience as a Construction Project Manager, preferably with a focus on concrete or civil construction.
- Strong understanding of the construction process, from design to completion.
- Demonstrated experience in managing project budgets, timelines, and teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong knowledge of construction regulations, safety standards, and quality control practices.
- Competitive salary of $200,000 to $250,000 per annum, plus superannuation.
