About the role :
Operating within Payroll Services, as the Senior Payroll Services Officer, you'll deliver the timely and accurate production and reconciliation of the fortnightly payroll, by implementing and reviewing a range of records and processes required for payroll processing, organisational reporting and work flowed to other university systems. As a seasoned and experienced payroll professional, you'll organise and prioritise tasks involved in the cyclical payroll processes from commencement to closure, ensuring that processes are completed to support all payments, superannuation and salary packaging; while deductions monies are generated, reconciled and deposited within established deadlines. You will also support the Wage Compliance Program with payroll related matters as directed by the National Manager, Payroll Services.

Total remuneration valued to $121,117 - $131,031 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $102,346 - $110,723 (pro rata) pa (HEW 7), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. A 2.8% increase will be effective from the beginning of the last full pay period before 30 June 2025. 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff. Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
