Business Process Improvement Specialist Join us as a . Brisbane opportunity based at our Newstead Office in permanent This is a Your opportunity: , you play a key part in supporting the delivery of BPM and Continuous Improvement (CI) across EQL. Your role is hands-on, focussed on fostering better collaboration across the business, and guaranteeing processes are not just improved but seamlessly integrated. Business Process Improvement Specialist As a You work closely with the Business Process Improvement Manager to explore, analyse, and document existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and support teams in implementing smarter, more effective ways of working. You also have a role in championing and building a culture of CI. Bringing curiosity, structure, and consistency to EQL’s BPM and CI function, you ensure improvement initiatives are well-documented, organised, and effectively implemented. So, what does your day-to-day look like? You spend your time:
- Supporting the design and maintenance of the BPM and CI framework, ensuring consistency in tools, templates, and standards.
- Conducting business process mapping, interrogation, and due diligence to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Monitoring and upholding governance, helping teams stay on track with process changes.
- Engaging with stakeholders to facilitate business process and improvement initiatives.
- Undertaking data analysis and performance monitoring to uncover trends and track improvements.

- While formal BPM and CI certifications aren’t required, if you hold one – such as Lean Six Sigma or an equivalent certification – it’s an added advantage. A relevant degree is also beneficial, but not essential.
- Experience in BPM and CI , including supporting typical process improvement, project management, and delivery activities. This includes hands-on experience in mapping workflows, analysing inefficiencies, and supporting change initiatives.
- Understanding of BPM software applications that support the capture, analysis, and modelling of business processes.
