Due to exciting growth within More Than Support, we're seeking an experienced People & Culture Manager to drive the strategic development and help shape the future direction within our workforce and industrial relations department. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute across a broad range of human resources functions in the NDIS field during this dynamic period.
As a strategic partner to the leadership team, you'll provide expert advice and operational support in areas such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, workplace health and safety, and Human Resource systems. You will play a vital role in fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture while ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and expert advice to managers and employees.
- Interpret and apply industrial instruments, including the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry (SCHCADS) Award and Fair Work Act.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to drive policy development, workforce planning, talent development and organisational efficiencies.
- Manage employee relations matters, including performance management, grievances, and dispute resolution.
- Design and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement, and retention.
- Develop, implement and manage learning and development initiatives to support workforce capability.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of HR records and documentation.
- Develop, implement and maintain HRIS systems for streamlined operations.
- Monitor, maintain, and review staff visa statuses to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 3 to 5 years' experience in a senior HR role, ideally within the NDIS field.
- Strong expertise of the SCHCADS Award, Fair Work Act 2009 and other relevant employment legislation.
- Sound knowledge in Immigration and Sponsorship processes is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply industrial instruments and enterprise agreements.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience across multiple HR functions, including recruitment, performance management, OHS, and learning & development.
- Proficiency in Human Resources Information systems and digital HR platforms.
- Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related field (AHRI membership is advantageous).
