About the job
This Sport and Recreation Leader traineeship is an 18 month position averaging 34 Hours per week and will operate from multiple areas of the business working with the gymnastics program, multi sports program, customer service and assist the Centre Director.
The trainee will be trained in the following areas: cash handling, Eftpos transactions, the current point of sale software, telephone operation, program bookings and memberships, café customer service, office administration, marketing, coaching skills, and facility bookings.
The Sport and Recreation Leader - Trainee will possess excellent customer service skills, with an enthusiastic attitude, good organisational skills, and enjoy working in a service-orientated role.

The successful candidate will be provided the following certificate training within the traineeship:
- Certificate III in Business Administration

The Y Geelong Board and Management are committed to the safety and wellbeing of children and young people in accordance with our Safeguarding Children and Young People framework. All applicants must undergo satisfactory screening prior to commencement, including but not limited to:
