Your Role

This role is held in the Operations Department working closely with marketing stakeholders and commercial campaign managers.

The key areas of accountability in the role are:

Campaign Execution:

  • Provide exceptional quality check, proofing and assurance on all offer and data inputs in accordance with process and briefing instructions.
  • Ownership of all campaign activity with the email platform and offer management system.
  • End to end operational campaign coordination across all teams.
  • Ensure all personalization and dynamic elements are executed as per brief and tested.
  • Set up data for testing purposes.
  • Understand targeting segments and creative variations within campaigns.

Project Management:

  • End to end project management of trigger based and complex initiatives.
  • Scope and manage requirements with stakeholders.
  • Brief internal teams on requirements and timelines.
  • Keeps stakeholders up to date with progress and timelines.
  • Set up offers and manage end to end testing of the campaign.
  • Look for continuous improvements from a process and design perspective, execute test and learn strategies and analyse results.

Automation Based Projects:

  • Coordinate and lead the implementation of trigger based email and campaign automation initiatives.
  • Assist and consult on best in class solution design including use of data in digital projects.
  • Conduct testing within Adobe and Responsys/Braze to ensure creative segments , data and all personalization elements work as expected.
  • Ensure best practice processes are followed from scoping through to execution.

Your Experience

  • Project management and operational experience within email platform technologies.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and problem solving skills.
  • Sound knowledge around personalisation and dynamic elements in email.
  • Knowledge of targeting, segmentation, HTML/CSS desirable but not essential.
  • High attention to detail and positive can do attitude.
  • Experience handling data, loading data into tables for testing.
  • Experience in digital environment especially with email broadcasting and email campaign management or across other channels including Web, CRM, App, Social and Display is also desirable.
  • Previous roles such as Email Campaign Manager, Account Management, Project Management, Digital Coordinator, Email Specialist or similar at major brands.
  • Strong in email communications, Digital Project Management or digital roles in companies such as Qantas, Jetstar, Telstra, Virgin, Top 4 banks, and top tier Digital Agencies
  • Operational roles with major email platform, marketing cloud and marketing automation companies e.g. Braze, Responsys, Oracle, Exact Target, Silverpop, Adobe, Experian, Salesforce.
  • Experience handling campaign and CRM data is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience in marketing, operations, digital project execution is desirable but not essential.
