The Assistant Director Role
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and able to motivate, lead and encourage others. Someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills who can demonstrate the ability to work with the team and families and comply with the services values, policies, and procedures. Someone who has enthusiasm for continuous improvement and professional development.
You will be required to:
- To support the Director in managing the centre's day-to-day operations maintaining its high standards
- Create strong rapport with the children, parents, and educators
- Mentor and support the centre to Meet/Exceed the National Quality Standards
- Inspire and lead a group of educators in establishing and maintaining a positive and fun working environment
- Establish and maintain a healthy learning environment that children can thrive in
Minimum Requirements for Assistant Director
- Completed a Diploma in Children's Services
- 2 years experience working in an Assistant Director role
- Has excellent verbal and written communication skills (essential).
- Has a strong understanding of the National Quality Standards, Child Safe Standards, National Law and Regulations and EYLF.

- Working with Children Check (must be employee)
- First Aid (ACECQA recognised course code)
- Asthma Management (ACECQA recognised course code)
- Anaphylaxis Management (ACECQA recognised course code)
- Child protection training
- Passion for Early Education
- Excellent communication skills
