You’ve always loved working on fit out projects. The fast-paced nature of it really suits you, you don’t like being bogged down on big projects.
You’ve got a decent post-grad (2 years+) skill base as a coordinator or CA but you want to learn things the right way in a better company. One with a great reputation. Cutting corners isn’t for you and you want to become better.
In this role you’ll be office-based and will be able to learn from 4 PM's, CA's in the team and from a hands on ops manager and division manager.
You’ll get to go to site and develop relationships with your subbies who are always paid on time so they won’t be pestering you all the time. In fact this builder has no debt or overdraft which is a key reason why you'll share a yearly bonus with your peers from their yearly profits.
With WFH flexibility available, birthdays off and lots of activities and sports teams to join in the company you can see why their staff retention was 91% last year! (High for any sector, let alone construction)
Plus their maternity/paternity scheme is excellent and you'll get 24/7 salary insurance so if you do have an accident at work or outside then you'll be covered giving you extra security.
In time you can work up to a PM role or even move divisions and make the move across to their new build division on larger projects.
You’ll deliver a mix of projects in the commercial, retail and industrial sectors from $250k - $20 million so each day will be different.
Initially, the salary will be $90k - $140k package range with a yearly financial appraisal.
This role sounds great but what skills are you expecting from me?

We’d love to speak with you if you can tick these 4 points;

• You’ve been a CA for at least 2 years (post grad) in Australia and you’ve worked on fitout or new build projects up to $5million
• You have delivered projects in the industrial, retail, commercial, health, aged care or education sectors.
• You've completed a degree or diploma in a construction/engineering related field
• You are eager to progress your career and progress to a junior PM role in the future.
