As the Principal of Mount Nebo State School, you will play a vital role in delivering the vision of the department. The leadership role of Principal is critical to improving the educational outcomes of students in their schools. The Principal has a major influence on developing the quality of teaching and learning and nurturing positive relationships between students, teachers and stakeholders.

About Mount Nebo State School
Mount Nebo State School is a co-educational State Primary school catering for students in the greater Mount Nebo community. It is situated 464m above sea level and services the areas of Mount Nebo, Mount Glorious, Jolly's Lookout and suburbs surrounding The Gap and Samford. The school was established in 1931 as a one teacher school and currently has two classrooms, a tennis court, After School Care, a library, a multi-media room and several outdoor learning spaces.
The school's enrolment is currently 39 students and students are grouped into two multi-age classes. The Prep-2 children enjoy a class of 18 students with a full time Teacher-Aide. The 3-6 class has an enrolment of 17 students and also has Teacher-Aide assistance for a significant amount of time each day. Our children are lucky to have a high child to adult ratio that enables us to successfully cater to their needs.

- Form partnerships with parents, other government agencies, community groups, industry and business.
