About the Role:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Workers to assist a 29-year-old male participant in Murrumba Downs, QLD. The participant sustained a traumatic brain injury as a result of being hit with a motor vehicle.
This role is available for an immediate start on a casual, ongoing basis. The participant requires support every Wednesday and Friday from 15:30 to 18:30.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Helping with domestic tasks and capacity-building activities
- Assisting with community access, rehabilitation, and attending health appointments
- Providing companionship
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Certificate III in Individual Support
- Australian Driver Licence
- Current National Police Clearance
- Current Blue Card and Yellow Card
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- NDIS Supporting Effective Communication
- Reliable, proactive, and positive attitude
Please Note:
Two current professional references are required as part of the application process.
Pay Rates:
- Day Rate: $40.00 per hour
- Saturday: $56.00 per hour
- Sunday: $72.00 per hour
- Travel Allowance: $0.99 per kilometre (when travelling with the participant)
