How will I help?

You will be part of our Group Technology, Wealth Technology, Digital & Innovation Team operates under the Westpac Group Business Division. The Business Technology team is accountable for the delivery and management of all technology services and solutions required by the Business divisions. This includes project delivery, application development & maintenance and technology thought leadership.

You will be performing migration activities using the ETL tools, participate in multiple workshops to understand the structure of the data and how that will work in the new system. You will be understanding the source and destination applications and how the migration will fit into the new system and identify challenges of the program.

What do I need?

To be successful for this position you should have experience in the ETL tools as this program is highly focussing on data migration. Experienced in client requirement Analysis, Physical, Logical design, development, debugging, testing, deployment, support and maintenance of business applications. Experienced in implementing backup/ restoration, crash recovery and disaster recovery strategies and have previously designed and implemented the regular procedure for backups as per best practice. You will be experienced in proactive monitoring and troubleshooting using monitoring tools. You should have strong knowledge in database architecture, performance tuning, query tuning & optimization, database tuning techniques using monitoring tools.
