Reporting to the Assistant Director of Corporate Services, Communications and Stakeholder Relations, the Digital Communications Officer is part of a small team responsible for outreach activities, external communications, website content and design, branding support and advice, stakeholder relations and engagement.Applications are sought from those with demonstrated experience in communications roles. In this position, applicants should be able to work as part of a team in a flexible working environment. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to problem solve and adapt quickly to changing work priorities with a friendly positive attitude and the ability to motivate and support team members to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities of the APS Level 5 may include:
- Using digital communication tools such as website content management systems, social media platforms and associated planning and reporting tools.
- Providing advice on the most effective digital options, including search engine optimisation and social media marketing.
- Using Google Analytics and other digital marketing evaluation techniques to improve website and social media responses.
- Creating content and visuals in Canva or other design software.
- Utilising strong interpersonal and communications skills and maintain effective internal and external working relationships.
- Interpreting technical information into plain English.
- Event planning , including meeting deadlines and competing priorities and delivering work to a high standard with attention to detail.
- Hold relevant qualifications in a related field, and/or commensurate experience, be professional and articulate with a positive and energetic attitude.
