The Centre is in a beautiful natural environment including trees, grass and shady areas allowing the children to learn and socialise through lots of nature play.
The Opportunity
This is a part time, permanent position, working 4 days per week and a mix of early, middle and late shifts, with the earliest starting at 6.45am and the latest finishing at 6.15pm. The roster is set fortnightly.
This position is for a Diploma qualified educator to work in the kindy room, alongside an experienced ECT and Team Leader as well as excellent management who will be there to not only guide and mentor, but also to listen to your creative ideas. With above award rates of pay and excellent working conditions, the long standing Centre Director places high importance on a friendly, professional working environment where your hard work is rewarded and genuinely valued. About you:
To be considered, you will;
- Hold an ACECQA-approved Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education
- Have experience working in a long day-care child care environment
- Have sound knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
- Have a team focused philosophy, as well as looking to be part of the local community and build lasting relationships with families.
- Excited and passionate about authentic nature play
- Can work 4 days per week and a mix of early, middle and late shifts
- Current Working with Children Check for South Australia
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificates
- Current RRHAN Training
