The Role

Cockburn Cement is seeking a skilled Contract Services Planner to join our Reliability team based in Munster, WA. This role is responsible for scoping, planning, budgeting, and managing contract services across WA operations, ensuring maintenance and reliability activities are executed efficiently. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting maintenance teams, optimising plant reliability, and delivering cost-effective solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and oversee maintenance activities, contract services, and asset shutdowns.
  • Develop work plans, track performance, and ensure cost control in contract management.
  • Supervise contractors, optimise spare parts inventory, and support property and plant maintenance.
  • Analyse performance data, improve ERP master data, and enhance maintenance coordination.
  • Foster supplier relationships, and mentor team members.
  • Drive process improvements, adopt new technologies, and implement innovative solutions.

What You Will Need to Succeed

  • Certificate III or IV in Engineering.
  • 5+ years in a maintenance planning role within a heavy industrial environment.
  • Strong experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP.
  • Familiarity with planning software and MS Project (Gantt charts).
  • Strong computer literacy, including MS Office and SAP.
  • Mechanical or electrical maintenance experience in industrial settings.
  • Ability to develop and implement SWMS/JHA for safety compliance.
