THE ROLE
You will provide generalist HR advice and provide assistance to managers with a range of HR activities in a multifaceted business.
- Provide expert advice and support on HR policies and procedures
- Support stakeholders in the delivery of the annual people calendar of events, including performance, remuneration reviews and engagement surveys
- Liaise with payroll and other corporate services to support with staff movements
- Provide support to internal managers with advice relating to employment matters including performance, discipline and terminations
- Interpret the Enterprise Agreement and relevant awards in accordance with the Fair Work Act and NES
- Liaise with our migration agent and coordinate employee visa / sponsorship nominations
- Support the implementation of HR initiatives and projects
What you'll need to succeed
You are passionate about driving exceptional employee experience throughout employment lifecycle.
- Experience in a similar HR role with knowledge of HR laws, awards, EBAs and best practices
- Knowledge of HR systems (JDE, UKG advantageous) and data management
- Stakeholder engagement, clear communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building
- Organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Motivated approach to managing people and culture-related issues
- Experience with managing the process of visa applications is advantageous
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
