Unidex Healthcare are a privately owned recruitment company established in 2001 and operate across Australia, with our main offices in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland. Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specializing in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.
The Role:
We are currently looking for experienced Disability Support Workers to partner with a 63-year-old male participant based in Casino, NSW. Our participant has sustained a Traumatic Brain injury which has resulted in the loss of limb movement.
Shifts available:
Monday 1700-1900
Tuesday 1700-1900
Wednesday 1000-1300
Saturday 0900-1100
Flexibility of the shift times is important, sometimes the client may have medical appointments that he needs to attend. These appointments may be in Casino, Lismore, Ballina and the Gold Coast.
Pay Rates:
- Day - $38.75 per hour
- Afternoon - $42.63 per hour
- Saturday - $54.25 per hour
- Sunday - $69.75 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Assistance with domestic tasks including cleaning & meal preparation
- Assistance with Health & Rehab exercises
- Community access + rehab appointments
- Assistance with personal care
- Completing skin checks
Skills and Experience:
- Reliable, proactive, and positive attitude
- NDIS Supporting Effective Communication Module
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current National Police Clearance (within 12 months of issue)
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Full Australian Driver Licence
- Road Worthy Car and Insurance
- Current WWCC
