Female Disability Support Worker - Geelong
We are seeking compassionate and experienced Female Disability Support Workers to join our team. If you're passionate about making a positive impact and supporting individuals to live their best lives, we’d love for you to join us in supporting one of our valued clients.
In this role, you will provide personalised support to a female client with higher support needs, including challenging behaviours and autism spectrum disorder. You will play a vital role in ensuring her unique needs are met through tailored support, fostering an environment of respect, dignity, and independence.
This position is open to female applicants only, in accordance with the Equal Opportunity Act 2010 (Vic), due to the client’s preferences.
There are multiple roles available, starting March 2025.

What will I be doing?
- Implement and follow Positive Behaviour Support strategies to offer consistent, tailored support.
- Encourage active participation in daily activities, using positive reinforcement strategies.
- Prioritise the client’s safety, well-being, and emotional support at all times.
- Collaborate with team members and allied health professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centred support.
About You
You will be a compassionate and experienced disability support worker who brings:
- Experience with Structure & Routine: Ability to help individuals thrive by following personalised Behaviour Support Plans, ensuring consistency in care.
- High Level of Patience & Empathy: Offering understanding and support with kindness, meeting the unique needs of each individual.
- Commitment & Flexibility: Available to provide flexible support, including 3 shifts per week (weekday, weekend, and overnight options).
- Strong Communication Skills & Passion: Effective communicator with a genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities.
- Relevant Qualification: Have a Certificate III, Diploma, or similar qualification.
