We are looking for an organised and proactive Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of our construction projects. The role involves assisting the Project Manager in overseeing site activities, ensuring quality, safety, and environmental compliance, and managing resources effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination:

Assist in planning construction methodologies and organising labour, equipment, and materials.

Support the Project Manager in monitoring project budgets, schedules, and site activities.

Raise and manage purchase orders, adhering to company procedures and cost plans.

Prepare and review reports, estimates, and submissions for project works.
Quality Assurance:

Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.

Oversee inspections and testing, maintaining accurate records.

Address defective work through NCRs and corrective actions.
Safety and Compliance:

Conduct workplace inspections and ensure adherence to WHS requirements.

Monitor and facilitate safety training, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.

Assist with incident reporting and follow-up actions.
Environmental Management:

Ensure compliance with environmental management plans and risk assessments.
Qualifications and Skills:

Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering or construction management.

Proven experience in project coordination, quality, and safety management.

Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in project management tools and reporting systems.
