About the role
As a Support Worker within the Disability sector, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate and effective care to patients in a variety of settings. This position requires a dedicated individual who is passionate about helping others and committed to ensuring that each patient receives the highest level of care possible.
We are currently seeking experience, compassionate and reliable support work to work closely with 2 of our participants in the Sunshine coast region (Palmview to Maroochydore). Your role will include but is not limited to, supporting the participants with their daily needs, assisting with their physical, emotional, and social well-being, assisting with their personal care tasks, medication assistance, daily living tasks, mealtime assistance, PEG feeding and manual handling.

Responsibilities -
• Assisting with daily living activities
• Support participants in maintaining their personal hygiene
• Provide emotional support and companionship to participants.
• Medication Assistance
• Hoist transfers (manual handling)
• PEG feed experience
Requirements
• Prior experience in disability care (essential)
• Experience with providing personal care to maintain dignity for participant
• Manual handling experience - hoist
• Must have a valid driver's licence.
• Current Paid employee Blue Card
• Current Paid employee Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Clearance
• Current First Aid & CPR
• NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module (or willing to obtain before employment)
• Full Australian working rights
• Smart phone with internet access
• Two current (within the past 2 years) professional references from a supervisor will be required
