Quality Assurance Manager:

Key Accountabilities:
1. Quality Control and Assurance:
- Oversee quality related to testing procedures and product performance with Product Development and manufacturers (CMO) during development, release to market, stability and product improvement.
- Conduct inhouse pre-market release inspections.
- Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and investigate complaints related to product quality.
- Train staff on quality standards and procedures (change control, stability & testing requirements, deviation reports, product specifications, master item register).
- Product recalls and safety reporting.
- Understanding of local and international regulations to ensure quality complies.
- Seek opportunities for continuous improvement
2. Document management and reporting:
- Maintain QMS documentation.
- Maintain detailed documentation for quality-related activities (change control, deviation log, product dossiers, SDS, raw material statements, GMP agreements).
- Approval and maintenance of finished product specifications.
- Approval and owner of label final artwork files.
- Prepare for and manage internal and external audits.
- Monthly quality reporting.
About you:
To be considered for this position, you should have:
- Tertiary qualifications in a science field
- Extensive knowledge of QMS and Quality requirements.
- Attention to detail.
- Analytical skills.
- Excellent communication.
- Problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ideal experience would include applicable experience in a cosmetic manufacturing environment.
