Support Specialist – Mental Health & Psychosocial Disability
Location: Port Kennedy Area, Perth, WA
Pay Rate: $38 - $40 per hour

SIRV is seeking a dedicated and empathetic female Support Specialist to join our team, providing support that emphasizes client choice and control.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in the mental health field who values person-centered care, is non-judgmental, and is committed to empowering individuals to achieve their goals and integrate into the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate, individualized support to clients with mental health and psychosocial disabilities, focusing on their personal goals and community engagement.
- Assist clients in developing life skills, promoting independence, and integrating back into the community.
- Foster a safe, non-judgmental environment through redirection and positive guidance.
- Collaborate with the care team to create and implement personalized care plans.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in mental health and psychosocial support.
- Demonstrated empathy, patience, and commitment to participant-focused care.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and completed NDIS Orientation Modules.
- Current First Aid Certificate.
- Medication Competency Certification.
