The Rosewood Centre are seeking an enthusiastic Administration Assistant to join their team in based in Taree. This role will support a thriving psychology practice in a temporary (6 months) full-time capacity with the possibility of contract extension and permanency.
This position will provide exceptional customer service and administrative support to our counselling and clinical services team, ensuring a welcoming environment for staff, clients and visitors to the Rosewood Centre.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The role of the Administration Assistant Clinical Services is to provide high quality customer service and administrative support to the counselling and clinical services team at The Rosewood Centres.
The Administration Assistant Clinical Services will be committed to having a positive, friendly and approachable demeanour that will assist staff, clients and visitors to feel welcome.
From time to time you will be required to work at other Rosewood Centre office locations to cover periods of leave and attend meetings.
The allocation of the below Key Acccountabilities will be determined by the Practice Manager and may change based on the operational requirements at each location.
Skills And Experiences
EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA
- Experience in general administrative tasks including reception and intake duties, data entry, document formatting, filing, binding etc
- Ability to organise, prioritise and manage several tasks at one time in order to meet deadlines
- General accounts experience
- Ability to work autonomously whilst de-escalating complex situations
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, including with clients who may be vulnerable and highly emotional
- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and must possess a positive disposition
- Demonstrated awareness of confidentiality and boundaries of practice
- Experience working in a psychology or medical practice setting (Desirable)
- Experience working with clients with mental health issues and an understanding of basic mental health first aid (Desirable)
- Experience in using practice management software to organise daily client appointments, invoicing and work flows (Desirable)
- An understanding of NDIS including; creating service agreements, creating service bookings, types of item codes and fees etc. and behaviour support progams is highly regarded (Desirable)
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of Cert III in Business Administration or similar and/or equivalent experience in a similar position
- Current Driver Licence
- Current Working With Children Check
