Summary:
The Store Manager is responsible for managing and ensuring profitable operations of the retail store. They oversee staff, inventory, sales strategies, and operational policies and procedures to create a positive shopping experience for customers while achieving business goals.

Responsibilities:
- Hire, train, and supervise store staff
- Develop and implement sales strategies
- Monitor and manage store inventory levels
- Create and implement store policies and procedures
- Provide excellent customer service
- Manage store displays and merchandising
- Maintain the store premises
- Analyze sales and other performance metrics
- Provide reports to management
- Reconcile sales and handle cash
- Ensure staff adherence to company policies and standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, retail management or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in retail store management
- Demonstrated leadership, coaching and mentoring skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to multi-task
- Excellent numeracy and analytical skills
- Strong customer-service orientation
- Computer literacy and familiarity with retail technology
- Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures
- Good financial acumen with experience in cash handling and reconciliation
- Availability to work flexible hours when needed
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations governing the retail industry.
