Goodstart Early Learning Mackay – Bridge Road is seeking an experienced and passionate Centre Director to lead our well-established centre and drive excellence in early learning.
✔ Lead a thriving, well-resourced centre with strong existing relationships with families, children, and the wider community.
✔ Empower and mentor a team of educators, fostering a culture of professional growth, collaboration, and high-quality early education.
✔ Drive continuous improvement and innovation, ensuring alignment with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
✔ Maintain strong family engagement through Storypark, family events, and community initiatives, building long-lasting connections.
✔ Oversee our well-designed learning environments, including outdoor play area with sandpits, forts, bike tracks, and a vegetable garden.
✔ Foster a strong sustainability program.

About You:
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent as recognized by ACECQA).
• Proven leadership experience in an early childhood setting.
• Strong knowledge of the EYLF and NQS.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organisational skills.
• Passion for delivering high-quality early learning experiences.

In this role, you will:
• Deliver our bespoke learning program developed in collaboration with global leaders in pedagogical practice
• Build and encourage a talented team of early learning professionals, sharing your knowledge and contributing to a culture of reflective practice and ongoing improvement
• Work with your team to plan for the future of your centre, building the attendance pipeline and maintaining a revenue-generating business

You’ll need:
• A Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or working towards)
• Experience with leading and managing change within education, health or community services
• Experience in delivering integrated early childhood services in areas of disadvantage
• Proven commercial acumen with financial and operational performance management
