About the role
Based at our Head Office in Varsity Lakes this role will see you effectively support the Customer Relationship Manager to manage and positively motivate the Customer Relationship Team. You will be directly managing and supporting a team of approximately 5 Customer Relationship Coordinators and work with other department managers to achieve the desired results.
You will provide structure and strategy options to optimise customer service levels and efficiency within the team. To succeed in this role and to provide service to Internal and External Customers in line with Coral Homes goals and objectives, you will be proactive and resilient, and require a high level of leadership skills.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct weekly workflow meetings with Customer Relationship Coordinators (CRC)
- Ensure CRC workflow tasks, correspondence with customers and notes in project diaries are accurate and up to date
- Recruit, train and provide support and leadership to the team
- Ensure timely and professional customer service is delivered to our customers
- Manage customer escalations and provide customers with accurate information, closing out all concerns
- Actively participate in regular staff performance assessments and team meetings
- Take on challenging customer projects
- Maintain adequate staff coverage levels at all times and cover any CRC leave to ensure projects continue smoothly and effectively
- Maintain basic understanding of all council, certifier and government requirements
About You
- Previous experience as a senior customer coordinator, senior pre-site manager or in a similar Team Leader role
- Must understand the complete residential pre-site process and tasks within the pre-site area
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the construction industry working in a pre-site role preferably for large volume builders
- Experience mentoring and training a team to deliver excellence in customer service
- Ability to maintain composure during conflict or when troubleshooting is required
- Works collaboratively with other Leaders and Team Members
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- A confident, professional manner – self driven, positive and enthusiastic
- Ability to maintain a consistent and very high standard of work at all times / strong attention to detail
- Demonstrate honesty and integrity – promote positive working relationships
