How you can play a part
Reporting to the Program Lead – Transition Pathways, the Career Support Officer is responsible for working across schools to identify opportunities and provide advice, support and mentoring to assist Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth into sustainable employment. Your responsibilities will include;
• Building collaborative relationships and partnerships between the Brisbane Broncos and its stakeholders
• Work in partnership with internal stakeholders to support students into employment and/or further education
• Facilitate pathways for student work experience
• Managing and updating technology across various platforms including data collection
• Assisting with external engagement activities including; workshops, site visits, events etc
• Provides support to the Program Lead to enhance efficiency and quality of program outcomes and delivery
• Ad hoc tasks as required
To be considered
To be considered for this opportunity you will have
• Previous experience in a similar role; recruitment, education and/or business development
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to simultaneously manage deliver and support multiple programs
• Strong time management and organisational skill
