Our business is rapidly expanding with new stores planned in 2024 & 2025. The person hired for this role will work in our existing Yatala and Slacks Creeks stores for training on our systems and products before moving to run the new store to be located in Macgregor Qld. We are seeking someone with a longterm commitment to their career and our team.
Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Team Leader to oversee the daily operations of our retail store. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the store's staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and achieving sales targets. The Team Leader will also be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, achieving KPI, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the retail store, including sales, customer service, and inventory management
- Work with Management to develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and increase profitability
- Hire, train, and supervise staff, ensuring they provide excellent customer service and adhere to company policies and procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and order products as needed to ensure adequate stock levels
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring merchandise is displayed attractively and in compliance with company standards
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail management, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing staff
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on building and maintaining relationships with customers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Knowledge of inventory management and budgeting principles
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
