What You Will Be Doing:
• Prepare mechanical HVAC design drawings and specifications for a range of building types including hospitals, education facilities and commercial buildings
• Make life-cycle recommendations about existing systems, assess alternatives and present options to clients
• Collaborating with design teams and engineering disciplines to ensure the coordination and resolution of overall project design solutions
• Attend inspections and collaborate with trade contractors to ensure the designs are installed on site in accordance with the briefed requirements
About You:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5+ years experience in a similar role in a building services consulting firm.
• Strong client facing ability
• Strong knowledge of Australian standards and codes
• RPEQ registration (or ability to gain) is highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Must have unrestricted work rights for Australia
