About the Role
Managing a diverse portfolio of projects, you will work across numerous industries assisting organisations in implementation of their ICT and digital solutions including Infrastructure, cloud, core business applications and more.
This position demands an in-depth understanding of the client’s business needs and challenges, and the ability to offer proactive solutions. This is a role that requires a high level of client attention and support via a variety of communication methods.
Responsibilities:
- Project planning, leading, organizing and control
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to ascertain resourcing requirements and perform scheduling
- Identification, monitoring and reporting on progress of project milestones, tasks and activities
- Creation and management of project issue and risk registers
- Facilitate requirements gathering & workshops
- Work with internal team members, customer and vendors to develop documentation, business requirements specification, functional specifications, IT vendor requirements (which will incorporate technical interface specifications etc), Systems Integration Test (SIT) scripts and User Acceptance Test (UAT) scripts.
- Liaising with multiple parties involved in the projects at both a commercial and technical level, including but not limited to the Client, Vendor Project Managers, Builders, Electrical Engineers, Cabling contractors etc…
- Maintenance of project documentation
- Meeting organisation and minute taking
- Problem solving
About You:
- Experience in project planning, administration, resource and vendor management
- Excellent communication skills – ability to deal professionally and effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including C-level
- Self-Starter / Self Disciplined / Very well Organised
- Big Picture Understanding / Attention to Detail in Delivery
- Preferred IT related industry experience, in infrastructure, telecommunications, audio visual, application integration, cloud technologies, construction/capital works, aged care, etc.
- Qualification in PMBOK, Prince2 or similar, would be an advantage
- Current drivers licence / Ability to travel to Client sites
- Tertiary qualification in IT discipline (Uni/TAFE/College) an advantage
- Willingness to travel interstate
