The role you’ll play
- Work closely with our educators and develop programs tailored to meet the individual needs of each child.
- Deep dive into projects to scaffold children’s learning
- Contribute, research & have direct input into a services Quality Improvement Plan
- Be proactive in ensuring currency in best early childhood practice.
- Using storytelling, drama, music and discussion to develop language and vocabulary.
- Ensure compliance as a mandated reporter in accordance with the services Child Protection policy and procedures.
- Identifying and responding to children at risk
- Assess, provide feedback & report on children’s learning
- Promote positive, comforting, and nurturing relationships with children.
Skills and experience
- Early Childhood Teaching Degree or equivalent
- Tasmanian Registration of Working with Vulnerable People (Employee) or ability to obtain
- A recent Police Check
- A sound understanding and knowledge of the National Quality Framework
- Ability to lead and work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment
